Springdale was founded in 1838 as Shiloh, and incorporated in 1878 as Springdale. Covering 31.3 square miles, Springdale is the fourth largest city in Arkansas and enjoys a revitalized downtown, the family-friendly Jones Center, the Arvest Ballpark where the Northwest Arkansas Naturals play, and The Arts Center of the Ozarks.
