A national outdoors publication put the Northwest Arkansas city of Bentonville among its "28 Best Trips of 2016."
Outside Magazine noted that Bentonville is becoming a "premier mountain-biking destination." The city is hosting the International Mountain Biking Association's World Summit later this year. The magazine, which is published once a month, has nearly 700,000 paid subscribers.
The magazine's recognization of the city came at about the same time that the New York Times published a travel section story focused on Bentonville.
The Times article mentioned several places in Bentonville, including the reconstructed Frank Lloyd Wright house on the property of Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, the Oven & Tap and Tusk & Trotter restaurants, Phat Tire Bike Shop, Scott Family Amazeum and Bentonville Brewing Co.
