Led by No. 5-ranked Bentonville, Northwest Arkansas has four cities among the nation’s Top 100 Small Cities for Working Parents, a personal finance and information service said.
Bentonville’s impressive ranking by NerdWallet put it ahead of No. 27 Rogers, No. 70 Fayetteville and No. 76 Springdale. The full story can be found at this link.
“We looked at small cities because they are most often the places that offer the best environments for middle-class families,” NerdWallet wrote on its website. “The places that topped our list are cities that offer the best mix of income potential, affordability and top-notch schools.”
The ranking noted that Bentonville parents had the shortest commute to work among the 10 cities put at the top of the ranking.
The ranking included cities across the U.S. with a population of 25,000 to 100,000 residents.
