G60 Contests Help Entrepreneurs Hone Message

By April 7, 2014February 2nd, 2021No Comments

The G60 Pitch Contests play an important role in helping aspiring entrepreneurs hone their message, and the next event is set for April 21 in Bentonville.

The contest starts at 6:30 p.m. that day at the 21c Museum Hotel in Bentonville.

A $1,000 prize will go to the G60 participate based on an audience vote. A second $1,000 prize will go to the top presentation as decided by a panel of judges.

The G60 Pitch Contests, which were started by Jeff Amerine in 2011, promote startups, help to improve business founder’s communication skills, and they increase “creative collisions” in emerging entrepreneurial ecosystems. It results in a more vibrant entrepreneurial community that has a positive impact on the economic development of the region.

The title sponsor for the event is Windstream Hosted Solutions, in addition to program support from Winrock International.

There’s no charge to attend the event, but both audience members and those interested in making a pitch are asked to register at this link.

Future G60 events will be held June 11 in Siloam Springs and Aug. 12 in Rogers.

Additional information about the pitch contests is available at the G60 website.

Special thanks to our major investors for their support of the Northwest Arkansas Council and our work in the region:
